- Capacity building strategies, how can you improve your organizational strength by increasing the capacity of your Board and Staff and improving your financial position?
- Asset management, what are the appropriate tools for leadership to monitor performance? Are projects operating within budget, and if not, what are the opportunities for increased revenue or decreased expenses that will not compromise mission goals?
Policy consulting services:
- Is your local jurisdiction taking advantage of potential affordable housing resources? If not, what are the tools at their disposal and what have other jurisdictions done?
- Is your project concept consistent with the funding priorities of the Washington State Housing Trust Fund and/or the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (administrator of LIHTCs)? If not, how can you advocate for policy changes?
- Direct state allocations. Is your project a good candidate for a direct appropriation? If so, how can you work with your legislative delegation to get an allocation?
